About Maaydesh
Maaydesh Foundation was established by Arun Joshi to continue the tradition of giving back to our communities. We aim to preserve, uplift, strengthen, and support India’s historic and cultural treasures by renovating and modernizing old structures, infusing modern practices, and promoting adopted institutions for broader recognition. We put our own financial resources and the collective leadership of our board members into rebuilding the institutions established by prominent thought leaders in social, cultural, and educational fields.
Some of the noteworthy projects include renovations of 120 years old Rajwade Hall of Bharat Itihas Sanshodhak Mandal in Pune, Veer Sawarkar Seva Kendra in Mumbai, and re-develop selected Zilla Parishad’s dilapidated schools along with installing computer systems in Kokan areas of Maharashtra.
Arun Joshi also founded RagaNXT seven years ago to preserve and promote new recordings of Indian classical artists. RagaNXT has created and has released more than 40 new albums of famous artists.
