Dear friends,

Today, Dec 31, 2022, we are announcing the ‘Renovation and Restoration Project’ of the heritage building of Bharat Itihas Sanshodhak Mandal in Pune. Since Maaydesh Foundation signed the MOU on Oct 14, 2021, at the hands of late Shri Babasaheb Purandare, our teams have diligently followed up on getting the permissions from various authorities, have held numerous in-person and remote meetings, and given valuable inputs to make this day happen.

We will make this heritage site the most modern with all the amenities you see in today’s new construction projects. It will have new seating, a new stage with large LED screen, digital LED Kiosk type wall panels, and display units that match museum quality arrangements. We will also develop ground and first-floor side wings and make them wonderful meetings and classrooms. We will have solar panels to give the daily lighting needs. Various other balconies and outside areas will be refurbished or added.

Now our work to do real project management starts tomorrow. Maaydesh and BISM board members, and the building construction committee will work in unison to complete the project in the shortest possible time.
